An Ode to Venus, in Sprummer Fire

April 16th, 2026

The greeter of dusk, you sit in the East.
Your radient brilliance brings the fall of night.
I gaze upon thy subtle shine, at peace.
A warmth within my heart begins to light.

Brief remains your presence on these sight lines,
Your revolution nears horizon's grasp.
They say your beauty was in kind divine
(You after all are God of Love, your task).

If truth of greatest beauty is now told:
The light of Venus in dusk beats them all.
